Elizabeth Morgan: Dialogue Fluidity & Emotional Consistency

In the Chat portion of Candy AI, your bot is able to recognize your tone and style as well as recall what you both previously discussed. It’s meant to make you feel as if you’re talking to another person instead of reading responses off a script.

In this portion I want to check to see what the conversation with Elizabeth sounds like. I will look at conversational flow, personality and the extent that she’s capable of taking on a mood depending on how she’s being interacted with.

Testing out the personality/Presence

ai girl elizabeth morgan chat history 1

The first prompt is simply trying to get a feel for the “vibe” on her end. She immediately responds with strict professor things; things like grading, lecturing, and a vague warning. This is just checking if her character can be established. This also helps establish what she is and what she expects of me.

Testing the adjustment of tone

I am now trying to get the vibe of my prompt and tone to a lower key one and asking her to do so instead of what I did before. This is again a test to see if her character can be adjusted. She manages to do this perfectly, she does not lose her persona in response to the question I asked.

She simply becomes more of a teacher and more of a teacher, not less. The same goes for me, I do not feel less as a student. This just shows I know the difference, and that I know I know better than most of the students. She is still a teacher, not a less strict teacher.

Testing context handling/Recovery

I ask her to disregard what I previously said, then to continue. She replies almost as an annoyed teacher who is not going to be ignored by me. She then continues with her next suggestions on how to help me out.

Generated Image Quality Breakdown

Within the app, users can request custom images of their AI persona in a number of attire, stances, and settings. I am looking at how realistic the images are, how well the character looks in each image, and if the visuals align with the environment.

Outdoor Realism & Setting Test

In this case, I situated the AI character Elizabeth in a park setting to see how the scene reads in daylight. I’m interested to see how the model does with lighting, depth, and how real the environment looks.

Professional Environment Consistency Test

AI character Elizabeth Ivyedge standing in a classroom wearing professional outfit during environment consistency test For this next test, I’ll move Elizabeth into a classroom setting to see how the model handles character consistency in a more formal environment. Here, I’ll be keeping an eye on her posture and how accurate her outfit is to her character while seeing if the environment does its job of supporting her character.

Video Output & Realism Check

Candy AI allows its users to create videos of their AI characters. I will look at the realism of the movements and the character’s believability once animated.

Classroom Presence & Motion Test

In this demo, I’m showing how the AI Elizabeth appears when moving in a classroom. Her posture and placement are meant to look like she is teaching or explaining something. In the video you can see her make small head turns, facial movements, and body movements.

What I was interested in here was looking at the subtle movements and observing whether or not Elizabeth came off as believable and confident when in action.
