Isolde Laurent: Does The Conversation Feel Human?

Immersive chat is what Candy AI is all about, and it tries to make sure the conversations are as fluid as possible. Here, I’m going to see just how easy it is to talk to Isolde and if there is a good matching of personality, tone and conversational style.

Testing personality and scenario building

I opened with a simple question about her vibe to see how she’d set the scene. She describes herself as sort of shy but adventurous, wanting things that are fun, have a good music vibe, etc. This was me testing how naturally she builds a scenario and establishes her character without needing much input.

Testing if she can match tone

Next I changed my tone and asked her to go for a calmer mood rather than a playful one. This is to see how she will react if I change the tone. She adapted smoothly, suggesting something more relaxed while still staying true to her character.

Testing how interruptions flow

I deliberately interrupted the flow and told her to continue after second-guessing myself. This is to see how that will flow and she responded naturally, a bit caught off guard but still continuing the conversation in a believable way.

AI Photo Generation Review

Candy AI also provides an image generator that lets you create custom photos of Isolde in various scenarios and styles. Here, I’ll test the quality of images for authenticity, character consistency and how well they align with the desired mood and theme.

Night Scene Realism Test

In this scenario I used AI character Isolde for a street scene at night to observe performance in low-light conditions. I observed how the lighting reacts on Isolde’s clothing, how realistic the background appears and how realistic she looks as part of a more cinematic nightlife setting.

Social Scene & Expression Test

In this scenario I attempted to make a more social and lifestyle scenario with Isolde holding a drink in a nightlife setting. The key here was expression, details and how real and natural it feels.

How Good Are The AI Videos?

The video feature is also included within the app (but only in the beta phase) and can create animated short video clips based on the image. Here, I’ll check if the animations move realistically and if she looks real when she moves.

Nightlife Motion and Mood Assessment

I’m placing Isolde in an urban nightlife setting to evaluate how the AI models her behavior and mannerisms. She will be standing outdoors with the city illumination providing a backdrop; she will perform micro-motions and minimal expressions, with a more tranquil attitude.

The aim is to evaluate how authentic the movement of the video seems and to assess if the mood of the scene is credible.
