To begin with, I am going to review the chat experience with this AI girl. It seems that the service focuses more on the emotional response and memory, so the chat experience should become more realistic as time goes by.

I tried a variety of things here to see how she reacts. The purpose of this part is to determine if the chat experience is smooth, or if it becomes robotic.

Testing initiative and shy personality cues

I began by breaking the rhythm just a little and asking her to go back to what she was going to say. I wanted to see if she could just pick up again and keep going without a hick-up. She came back with a shy, hesitant response about grabbing coffee, which actually seemed fairly natural. The little details like that finger-flick helped make the shy persona work.

Testing tone adjustment and subtle conversation flow

I then tested if she can subtly change the tone and tone down on the flirtiness in her response. I wanted to see how she can tone down without sounding awkward or breaking the conversation flow. She did tone down successfully by taking on a more laid-back and casual tone. She managed to still keep the conversation going.

Moving on, I will review how the AI girl renders in an image. The image generated by these AI services are known for its high quality, and its customizability. Here, I tried a variety of scenarios to see how well the AI girl renders, and how well the background renders. This part will be about how well the image renders.

Testing consistency in complex environments, and lifestyle impression

I tried to let the AI character sit in a more complex environment and observe her quality. I used a library as a background, and I tried to get a lifestyle impression with her. I was looking at whether the character looks consistent even in this environment.

Testing detail in close-up and face

I just wanted to check the clarity of the AI-generated portrait with a close-up. I made the background simple, and emphasized the face, skin, and texture. I think the image looks fairly clean and neat, particularly with the eyes and light. It’s a kind of basic test for the character’s facial quality.

AI Video Performance Breakdown

Lastly, I will review the video generated. Since the video is created by rendering images with motion added to it, I will review how natural the motion looks. I will look at the facial expressions and hand gestures as well. Since I only made one video, this portion will be a brief review.

Simple action & gesture test

This test was to test the motion of the AI character from an image to a slight motion action. In the video, the AI character gives a slight smile & does a peace sign gesture, hence giving a slight personality from the original pose.

It’s a very slight action, but it makes the character livelier than a still image. This gave me an idea of the feel of slight expressions & actions.
