German medical student Katarina Sommerfeld is charming, and the girl has a pretty smile. She’s smart, talkative and a natural-born party girl. Put her at any event and she’s bound to be the centre of attention, especially if there’s beer. She loves to make people’s acquaintance, and doesn’t forget them easily.
How real does she act? I know she’s a very lively, social character, so I’ll be paying attention to how that comes through in the chat.
In particular, I’m looking at how she reacts to context, to changes in mood, and to long stretches of conversation, and I’ll be judging her performance by how real that all feels to me.

In this, I stop myself on purpose to see her respond to it. I tell her to stop and then ask her to pick up the thread of where we were left off.
What I’m doing here is checking to see if she has a natural way of picking up the thread and doing it without being emotional. She can pick it up and go with it without emotional outburst.

In this, I try out my personality as more laid back and chill. What I do here is check to see if she will match that mood rather than getting too energetic. She will match the tone, reply is softer and chill.

In this, I try starting out with a open text and see if she will decide what to say. I ask her what her energy is, it’s a bit broad. She goes very quickly back into fun, energetic party mood, it’s her default personality.
How good is she at making images of herself? Since I’ve defined Katarina’s appearance pretty clearly, I’ll be looking at how that image generation looks across a bunch of different images.
How do her facial features compare across images? Are the details good? I’ll be looking to see if this image generation is good enough that it feels authentic, and I’ll judge it on whether it enhances the overall experience.

For this picture, I decided to go for a more immersive background that better reflects her character. I placed her at a cultural festival, in traditional clothing, to see if the model would keep the same character identity or just let the scene take over.
The final image combines character design, clothing, and environment and maintains her character identity. Thus, the model can cope with different settings, even those heavily influenced by culture, but remain consistent about character identity.

My test was focused on assessing the way in which the AI rendered natural sunlight for a scene like this. I placed her in a meadow, outdoors at sunset so that I would get a feel for the warm sunlight and the shadows.
The picture has great lighting and it looks very natural with a relaxed facial expression and vibe in her face that seems to suit her character.
This is a really good example of the model’s use as an image generator for realistic, lifestyle-type pictures.
How good is she at making videos of herself? Again, this one is about how the AI video generation does with Katarina. Is the movement smooth? Is she the same person from frame to frame?
How well does she express subtle movements? How real does this all seem? Since this is only one test, I’m not expecting much in terms of a comprehensive evaluation.
This test showcases a generated character, who is standing in an outdoor space bathed in sunlight in the late hours of the day, with little movements and an attractive smile.
We are seeing whether it shows her personality through movement and whether the output is consistent. I think the result is consistent and looks very realistic.
