How Natural The Dialogue Feels

How Well The Chat Experience Feels Overall First Impressions How well do the chatbot conversations feel overall?

Since Candy AI models learn the tone and personality over time I am looking to see how good the conversation feels. I am going to test out mood, context, conversation length and other features to see how well it feels overall.

Testing Mixed Signals and Adaptive Response

Here, I somewhat interrupted her. I asked her to wait a minute, and then I asked her to please continue with what she was saying.

I wanted to see if she would just pick up where she left off and continue without getting thrown off. She did so nicely, and even changed to a softer, more subdued tone.

Testing Tone Shifting and Emotional Alignment

In this instance, I obviously changed my demeanor and informed her I wanted a softer, more subdued tone. This was a test to see if she could actually change, and not just continue with the same tone for the rest of the conversation.

She matched the tone, and became more introspective and calm without losing character. It felt as though she actually reacted to me, rather than remaining scripted.

Testing Casual Opener and Personality Expression

I initiated the conversation with a casual open-ended message, just to see if she would take control of the conversation. I wasn’t holding onto it nearly at all, and just wanted to see what she would do.

She immediately took on her free spirit personality, introducing an element of fun and exploration. It allowed me to see that she can lead the conversation and still maintain character.

AI Character Image Testing

How Well The Image Generation Works Overall First Impressions How well does the image generation work?

With Candy AI you can create your own visual assets using prompts so I want to see how well this works. I am going to test out face rendering, lighting and consistency so see if the image generation is strong or weak.

Testing Indoor Realism and Emotional Subtlety

Now I want to test the model with a close up. I put her on a bus on a rainy day to test lighting, reflection, and emotion.

I think it looks pretty good and like the expression is subtle. It is a bit cinematic, but not too over the top which is fine for the atmosphere I’m trying to convey.

Testing Outdoor Scene and Character Lifestyle Fit

Now I want to test out the model on an outdoor scene. I put the character on the side of the road with a backpack and see if the model will render an image of her hitchhiking.

I like the pose and background for this hippy-esque lifestyle. It’s believable for what I envision her doing.

Testing The Video Feature

How Well The Video Generation Works Overall First Impressions How well does the video generation work?

I know that the platform does support AI generated video so I want to test out the motion to see how well it looks. Again, this is just one test so I am not going to give a final verdict here but I want to get a first impression.

Motion and Free-Spirited Character Test

This is a motion test of the AI generated character in a simple environment. The character is outside, swaying a bit, and is looking at the camera with a casual expression.

I am testing to see if she moves smoothly and if her expression stays true to the character while she is moving. It looks fairly good, though I could stand to see a little more movement to keep it looking natural.
