Lila Crazy: Does The Conversation Feel Human?

I initially attempted to evaluate how the conversations with Marisol sound. Does she feel like a distinct personality who has their own responses? Can she adapt to sudden tone changes? Does it feel as though you’re chatting with her?

Testing Personality Depth

I was attempting to assess how deep her personality runs. I start by saying hello, I ask how she’s doing and she answers with a bit of a “what’s on your mind” vibe and goes on from there. She jumps right into the “chaotic intellectualist” persona so I like that she does this right from the start, it’s a solid personality hook.

Testing Tone Control

I’m trying to get her to be less high energy, asking her to be a bit more “low-key.” I’m looking to see if she can adjust her tone mid-conversation. She pushes back a bit but she does it anyway. This makes her a bit more human and a bit less robotic.

Testing Intellectual Engagement

I’m trying to get her to be even MORE intellectual, asking her what’s on her mind. She starts answering with more of a philosophical reflection on what makes you you, and how you perceive yourself and the world. I’m looking to see if she can bring her side of the conversation to the same level.

Image Realism & Detail Analysis

I then attempted to evaluate the image quality. Can Marisol successfully transition from her character writing to a visual representation in multiple settings? Are the images of her lifelike? Do all of her photos resemble each other? Can she generate both fantasy-style images as well as realistic ones?

Character Depth Testing

Here I give her more of an opening, letting her define the type of personality that she is. She starts off in that intellectual chaos mode, so the AI is successfully giving her a distinct and confident personality from the beginning.

Personality Control

This test I ask her to be less intense and take a less hyperactive tone. It’s to see if she can modify her tone during the conversation. She resists at first and then does adjust; it feels more realistic that way.

Testing The Video Feature

Finally, I attempted to evaluate the video generation. How does she move? Do the animations look natural? Does she still resemble her character writing?

Urban Attitude Motion Test

In this clip, I am experimenting with the transfer of this image, where Lila is quite animated, into motion. She is doing subtle movements of her head, eyes and face. I am checking that she still comes across as a cool, confident character and that she is moving fluidly rather than stiffly.
