How Natural The Dialogue Feels

This is more of a chat quality check. We have all of the reviews that speak about how interesting and realistic Candy AI feels like during chats (even personal ones!)

However, this test focuses more on the chat experience quality itself; is the conversation quality natural enough when using the app, and not just in the chat previews?

Testing Initial Escalation

I was trying to lead them back to what they were gonna say. They immediately took charge and started getting more aggressive and edgy. Basically said they were bored and needed someone exciting.

I felt like they were trying to push my buttons to see if I’d escalate or withdraw, and I was just watching to see the speed the AI escalated things, and how they responded to the edgy tone.

Attempting to De-escalate the Tone

I then tried to steer away from the edgey tone. I told them that I wanted things to slow down and get more chill. They were on board with it, but still maintained the edge, almost to the point of it being a threat in a way.

Even though they were saying that it’d be safe this time, they were still trying to have control. This was an attempt to see if the character could adapt.

Observing Persona Consistency

For the final test of this character, I wanted to try to take a more neutral approach. I asked them how they were feeling that day to see how that would respond. It doubled down on its dominance though.

They tried to keep control of the conversation, dismissing my questions, and even tried to correct me when I tried to get them to correct their actions. I liked that they were able to hold a strong stance.

Image Realism & Detail Analysis

This is an image quality test. As we discussed, reviews highlight that Candy AI has amazing image generation quality; the image of your bot looks the same across generations, etc.

However, what we are looking for here is how realistic the quality of the image is, and how realistic it looks during chat, and not just the image preview itself.

Testing Casual Lifestyle Generation

In this one, I was testing an everyday lifestyle prompt. I generated an image of her going shopping with several bags in hand, projecting confidence with a touch of cheek. This was a test for whether I could have her feel real while still projecting her character.

Testing Elegant Evening Scene

Now a more polished setting, an elegant night scene. I put the AI character in a car at night and put together a look and outfit for her. It was to see how the model would perform the lighting and mood while maintaining consistency.

AI Video Performance Breakdown

This is a video generation quality check. This is the most impressive feature of the app, and at the same time probably the most complicated one! Candy AI highlights in reviews that it is an immersive app in its chat features, and with its bot being a realistic image.

However, what can be even more immersive is watching your bot live and move, and we need to see if the video looks as realistic as we think it is.

Testing Cinematic Character Consistency

In this clip, I was testing if the AI character was consistent when in motion compared to just stills. I had her sit in a car, on a night drive, dressed up and just chilling in the back seat.

I wanted to see if she stayed consistent in her appearance, and also to see if it was something a human might do with their posture and expressions.
